PM Shehbaz unsparingly lists damages 'biggest liar' Imran Khan did to Pakistan

The leaked audio recordings are irrefutable proof that Imran Khan is the biggest liar in the world, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Tuesday, accusing Khan of injecting poison into society while he was still in power.

In his first interview from Pakistan after becoming the Prime Minister in April, Shahbaz Sharif highlighted everything that former Prime Minister Imran Khan did wrong when he was in power and explained how it badly affected Pakistan's foreign affairs, economy and more.

The image of my country has been greatly damaged by these lies told out of vile self-interest," the prime minister said.

He accused the coalition government of being a corrupt and "imported" government from the west.

Meanwhile, the prime minister says Khan is a "liar and fraud" who has destroyed Pakistan's economy.

Prime Minister Shahbaz said Imran Khan was running affairs to suit his personal agenda "in a manner that can only be described as the most inexperienced, self-centered, selfish and immature politician in the history of this country".

World leaders labelled Imran Khan rude, narcissist: premier

The prime minister went on to say that several world leaders told him on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly that his predecessor Imran Khan was "rude", "told lies" and called him a narcissist.

The prime minister said he was "shocked" at the UN General Assembly in New York when world leaders personally protested the behavior of PTI chairman Imran Khan.

They told me he was rude, lied and is a 'narcissist', quote unquote," the prime minister told the publication, without naming any world leaders.

Ties with Washington

Prime Minister Shahbaz's government is actively working to mend relations with the US. The government recently agreed on a $450 million deal with the US for F-16 military jets, and US President Joe Biden and Prime Minister Shahbaz met briefly at the United Nations in New York.

Biden expressed his support for Pakistan in the wake of the devastating floods.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto recently returned from his US trip and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa is currently in Washington.

Nawaz has given me free rein to make decisions: PM

When asked about Nawaz Sharif's influence on the government, the prime minister openly admitted that he consults with his elder brother.. “But he gave me complete freedom to make decisions.

The prime minister was also asked how dynastic politics prevails in Pakistan when the country's political scene is dominated by the Sharifs and the Bhuttos.

However, the Prime Minister dismissed the criticism, saying: "It's about competence: it's about public support, it's about people's trust."
